Laura has a background in various areas of law from personal injury, insurance defense, general practice, and family law. Laura has been working as a family law paralegal since 2005. And has not looked back. Laura is a tough paralegal who works hard to assist her attorney in fighting for the best interests of the client and the children.

Family law is the most rewarding area of law, in Laura’s eyes. In no area of law can you see, and feel, how the outcome of a case affects clients and children for the better. There is nothing better than helping a person make changes for the positive.

Spending time with friends and family is top priority for Laura. In fact, she views all of her friends as family. Finley is Laura’s fur baby, who keeps her on her toes and he’s what Laura calls a “Heinz 57” breed. Fin is a mutt with a mix of over 5 different breeds of dogs, and he protects his mom from FedEx, UPS trucks and, of course, Amazon trucks. All. Day. Long.

Giving back to the community is also top priority for Laura. She has volunteered her time with a local charity which serves to help families with children with special needs, and is looking to volunteer for other charities as well, including Special Olympics, Veteran related charities, and of course an animal shelter, too!

As Audrey Hepburn said, and one of Laura’s favorite quotes: “As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others.”
